Eloi Pascual | Amarea

Spanish drummer and composer Eloi Pascual presents his brand-new album “Amarea”, released under ZenneZ and Berthold Records, featuring Korean pianist Chaerin Im (Sun-Mi Hong, Jasper Høiby) and Belgian bassist Matteo Mazzù (Waan, Neon River).

Formed as a trio in 2021 during their senior year at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, they have developed a truly unique sound, shaped by Eloi’s original compositions. Each piece provides space for the musicians to express themselves while offering clear frameworks for improvisation, creating a distinct universe in every track.

With minimalist, carefully constructed melodies, meditative moods, and a nuanced interplay built on years of diverse musical collaborations, this trio offers listeners a one-of-a-kind musical experience.
