Judith Jiskoot Trio is a modern jazz ensemble hailing from Utrecht. Through the use of intricate and contemplative guitar melodies and the combination of pop-inspired structures with a jazz sound, the compositions evoke a sense of recognition in jazz, indie and folk aficionados. Together with Sebastian de Gilde on double bass and Peter van Kaam on drums, the music transcends from detailed and clearly woven pieces into playful songs with breath and heartbeat.
