ROODE BIOSCOOP SESSIES 8.0 | Alkistis Misouli Quintet

The recently formed quintet was brought together after Alkistis Misouli explored the process of sharing memories of vulnerability through their translation into parameterized duo improvisations. Listening back to every improvisation, she extracted compositions dedicated to each of the musicians of the group. In this concert, all these shared memories will be heard in the form of diverse musical configurations entitled "Vulnerability Portraits". The series of compositions explore and combine different musical forms and structures of improvisation, in order to better reflect the particulars of each duo memories and how they were shared musically before being trusted to each other also verbally. Part of the content of the memories will also be shared with the audience.
